All six major Hollywood studios are now in the Blu-ray DVD camp, a day after Toshiba pulled the plug on HD DVD and Blu-ray became effectively the only next-generation game in town.
Paramount Home Entertainment quietly came onboard via a statement issued Wednesday to The Hollywood Reporter: “We are pleased that the industry is moving to a single high-definition format, as we believe it is in the best interest of the consumer,” the statement read. “As we look to (begin) releasing our titles on Blu-ray, we will monitor consumer adoption and determine our release plans accordingly.”

This the l337 Eye Chart. It has some really basic acronyms people use online, but in the form of an eye chart! It says at the bottom if you can read it then you have l337 eyes. And I could, so my eyez must b teh l337! Unfortunately having l337 eyes doesn’t come with wall hack capabilities, which is a shame because I think the couple that live next door are totally doing it.

February 8, 2008 Sony announced the Alpha 350 to its digital SLR family. The camera is 14.2-megapixels and has new technology called Super SteadyShot image stabilization. Noteworthy because this camera has a live view via a 2.7 inch led screen that pulls out and tilts up and down. Users will most likely be holding the camera away from their body using the screen to compose their shots allowing the SteadyShot image stabilization to come in handy.
“Sony claims that improved control algorithms in the A350’s body-integrated Super SteadyShot system allows users to shoot at shutter speeds of 2.5 to 3.5 steps slower, giving the user more leeway before resorting to a tripod or flash”.
If you want to check out all the specs go here. I was thinking about getting one of these and replacing my Canon Rebel but I think I’ll wait and see how this innovative camera stacks up to the industry standards.
